Sourcing seasonal botanicals, In Bloom offers distinct floral and plant arrangements as works of art. In Bloom fashions unique, expressive foliage to bring nature into people's homes and enrich personal experiences through locally grown horticulture. In Bloom aims to delight the senses through the enjoyment of beautiful plants and flowers.
This project was designed over the period of 5 weeks and included researching the floral industry and it's users, creating user personas, developing brand messaging, and creating brand touchpoints including a style board, a logo, illustrations, floral paper, floral cards, a stationary suite and brand guidelines.
The In Bloom brand tone is unexpected, flourishing, dynamic, wild and light. It is a feminine and delicate brand that is colorful and beautifully illustrated. I took an unexpected brand approach through illustration in order to create a neighborhood florist who you love to visit that is inviting and a little wild. In Bloom is daily life, embellished.
In Bloom was a my personal special project to illustrate and design for something a bit more feminine. The process began with research (as good design always should), strode into illustration and Photoshop watercolor and grew into a delicate/light style which easily spread throughout the brand collateral. Once I drew the illustrations the rest fell into place.
