Deus Ex Machina
Creating a landing page to drive users to experience a brand and potentially connect with it and the company is no easy task. It certainly doesn't hurt when the brand you choose is already alluring and sexy though! Deciding to advertise custom motorcycles my group partner and I created a responsive landing page for the brand Deus Ex Machina specifically to drive consumers to their bike products. Deus is a completely different kind of motorcycle company creating custom bikes around the world. Beyond the brand Deus Ex is a culture and a passionate group of motorcycle enthusiasts. We brought that lifestyle into our custom landing page to sell the product.
Our landing page was built to move traffic to Deus Ex's website for marketing purposes as well as to introduce consumers to the motorcycle brand. The idea is the users will come to the customized landing page and then click through to the content, maybe opt-in to an email list and/or begin a bike build. The content is relevant to the current brand and creates a cohesive feel so that going from the landing page to Deus Ex's website would feel like a natural path. We made it sleek and focused on a distinct design to show off their motorcycles and what the Deus Ex culture is like.
Designed to be optimum for desktop, tablet and phone the Deus Ex Landing Page can draw in new brand enthusiasts across any device.
This responsive landing page design was a 2 week sprint project which I worked on with Brian Jackson. We built the landing page in WordPress and hand coded a lot of the page to get the look we were going for. We built it for Deus Ex as the project guidelines didn't specify the product/brand to build for and we challenged ourselves to make something sleek and modern for a product we'd long admired from afar.
